This resource introduces learners to audio material segmentation, transcription, text annotation and dictionary creating using the tools ELAN and FLEx.
Sandra Ziagos
She holds a PhD in Linguistics and an MA (Magistra) in Translation Studies and is currently studying Digital Humanities. She has worked on the FWF-funded projects “Arabic in the Middle Atlas (Morocco)” and “The Language of the Arab Minority in Southern Iran” at the Universities of Graz and Vienna, and has carried out linguistic fieldwork in Morocco and Turkey. Her interests span the intersection of linguistic research and digital methods, and she also enjoys learning typologically different languages.
